In this green era, men, women, and children have tried very hard and made various endeavors to compress or constrict their carbon footprint.

The activities of the vegetarian are capable of preserving the environment, this article will discuss how vegetarianism affects the environment.

1. It limits the environmental harms of meat

in a bit to satisfy our taste and satisfaction for meat which comes in almost every aromatic meal, people tend to be more concerned with the taste of meat and spice it with different spices to the detriment of the environment.

This is quite surprising that the majority of the population has no knowledge of the environmental damage caused by the high consumption of meat and this makes to make benighted dietary decisions, leading to environmental degradation.

Methane is a greenhouse gas basically, or substantially sourced from cows. Cattle release methane through their respiration and travel up into the atmosphere causing a greenhouse effect. Vegetarianism affects the environment by simply reducing cattle emissions generally.

Vegetarianism affects our environment by managing and preserving water. A vegetarian diet is mainly plant related products and plants tend to use less amount of water annually compared to the amount of water consumed by animals or livestock.

Animals have the culture to graze on land, especially cattle. This act tends to destroy our plants and affects their general produce.

These animals not only feed on plants but also destroy the plants… vegetarian diets preserve plants hence, as fewer animals feed on plants, fewer plants will be preserved.
