One of the challenges facing our world today is that most teachers and parents do not realize that everyone does not learn or assimilate information the same way.

In a class of people, it is often not advised to use just one learning style because it would end up favoring some persons while others would be left out.
In this article, we would have a look at the learning styles that we have in the world today or better put, we would look at how different people get to learn the same thing.
1. Logical Learning
These are the kind of learners that are basically very good with anything that has to do with numbers or other abstract visual information like maths or logic puzzles.
They will do better in maths than English if they find themselves in a classroom. Logical learners can effectively analyze cause and effect relationships because of the fact that the process in which they think is a bit linear. They always want to quantify things for better understanding.
2. Physical Learning
These are the ones who will learn it better if given an opportunity to do it with their hands. They can otherwise be called kinesthetic learners.
Basically, the physical learners stand out in games and sporting activities, they are very practical learners and may not do very well if out in a class of logical learners.

In order for a physical learner to grab what he is reading in a book, he will often be caught tapping his foot or making some other kind of bodily movement.
3. Verbal Learning
This set of learners only gets to learn through what is said. As long as it is said or explained, a verbal learner will understand better.
It is for these sets of people that the formal education system suits the most because they get to hear and assimilate almost all that is being taught.
However, their challenges come when they are introduced to practical or logical patterns of learning because they often struggle.
4. Social Learning
This set of learners may not excel in a classroom setting, but it is sure that they will excel and learn more if they are made leaders of a group.
They can be called interpersonal learners because of their communication skills. They easily come up with ideas and find more pleasure in discussing them and in the process of discussion, they actually learn so much.

They understand a bit of human psychology such as the expression on the faces of those that they are communicating with.
5. Intrapersonal Learning
These kinds of learners would learn better when they are alone. They enjoy it Kore when they engage in personal study, they would do better in personal assignments than in group work.
They fully understand themselves and have learned to work with themselves rather than allowing the excesses of other people to wear them out from learning.
6. Auditory Learning
This is quite like the verbal learner only that the auditory learner directs his focus only on sounds at the deeper level. They do not engage in random thought patterns, they think step by step.
They are the kind of people who would do better listening to an audiobook or watching a YouTube video. They often make very good musicians although, when it comes to body language, they may find it very difficult to interpret.

7. Visual Learning
Another name for this kind of learner is Spatial Learner. They are experts when it comes to the assimilation of anything that cokes visually.
In a mathematics class, a visual learner will do better in geometry but will likely struggle in arithmetics and numbers.
The visual learner often has a few issues with reading and writing. Although visual learners may be termed as ‘slow learners, they are often very good when it comes to anything that may demand imagination.
8. Naturalistic Learning
These are the kind of learners that process information through the patterns that exist in nature. They make use of scientific reasoning in order to fully comprehend living creatures. Most successful farmers, scientists, or naturalists in our world today are Naturalistic learners
Irrespective of your style of learning, one thing is very important to note. We can all learn through any style if we repeat the process over and over again.

No matter how old or young a person may be, when you repeat a process you tend to learn better but this does not take away the fact that we all have our own peculiar way of learning which has been discussed above.
